Separating ourselves from Divine Consciousness

 

I toy in the domain of confusion: When I don't let myself know what I really know, so I don't have to do what I want to do, when I don't let myself know what I really know…

Firstly its important to identify what exactly is Divine Consciousness. There could be many ways…

to describe it and many people will try to address it through religions and beliefs, but this article is not about any religion nor is it to prove one religions having any more than another. If you compare religions to recipes for a cake, then there are many varieties of cake and they mostly all taste nice and we look forward to tasting them. We can have preference to one or another so it’s the same with religions. In a normal average daily life people may choose one religion over another.

We generally call this our belief and people have been gratified so much with one belief or another that much unfortunate behavior, practices and punishments have all been in the name of one religion or another. Why is this so, you may well ask – generally because, people or persons have felt something special when they have been practicing in a certain way, and over time they decided that this was the way to go especially if they also felt favored while practicing this method of discipline or worship.

The test however, comes when a real life crisis comes up and I'm not referring to here losing ones job or having trouble in a relationship or a difficult pregnancy or difficult boss or spouse. I'm referring to a life crisis. You're faced with dying soon from an illness. We are hardly ever faced with a real life drama like perhaps being left on a mountain top with no resources or; our life support is running out in the next few days…

People faced with this sort of dilemma are tested for their inner strength and exactly where their strength is coming from. Note I didn't say what they believe in here….this is because inner strength does not come from a belief comes from something deep inside that connects a person to his breath and to the healing power inside you, not a belief, beliefs change…

In order to get a handle on what I'm referring to here and to make it simple to follow, lets just imagine you have broken your arm or your leg, we need to imagine something a little more serious here hence this examples. Now I have frequently asked this question of my clients and have asked them: Who is healing your arm or leg if its broken? Is it you healing it, do you actually know how to mend the molecules and put the blood vessels together, do you actually channel the blood to coagulate and then cleanse itself and are you actually monitoring and making sure that the red blood corpuscles are more numerous than the while ones so you have enough of them to mend your body?

Of course not; we do not know how to heal our body on the inside, we automatically expect it to recover and yes we actually expect it!! Hence when a visitor comes along with the question of: ‘How are you feeling’? they never ask ‘how is the mending going on the inside of you’, do they? We expect that the body will heal by itself and there ends the curiosity as to how this miraculous event takes place.

But what is actually healing our body, or how is being healed ? There is a consciousness inside us that does this, it’s the same consciousness that governs our age and the exact same consciousness that keeps us feeling refreshed after a good night sleep. So what is this consciousness then? Its part of actually who we all are and without it we could never feel for another human being. Have you ever wondered how it is we feel for another human being when there has had a bad accident or why we cannot watch another person suffering and cringe at another person going through pain? Somehow we are connected to everyone through this inner consciousness.

There was movie made of a real life situation, called “127 Days” where a 28yr old male fell down a crevasse when climbing and after 6 horrendous days of his arm being pinned under a rock, he had a revelation and a vision that showed him exactly where he was going to be later on in his life.

This vision not only saved him, but gave him the impetus to do the unthinkable to most of us and do the dastardly act of actually cutting off his own arm in the whole agonizing procedure and live to tell the tale with a movie being made of his torturous event in the process.

There is no religion connected here to such courage, a vision of this nature does not come from any religious belief, but from an internal intelligence connected to our divine nature that guides us all.

Here is a simple way of understanding the real you –
Your Divine nature

The heart of your body is the real you the being state, which is opposite to the doing state, the your head part of your body…

For example we never say I'm doing in love, we say I'm being in love, I'm being with a friend, I'm being on a holiday; because we are a human being.

The doing part is the head part: Its what we do, where we live, our home our family our body, our nationality, and all that belongs to the world and we have no control of that, do we ? We think we have control but in reality we have very little control.

The heart or feeling part is our being and is actually all we have that belongs to us, this is what we come in with, and this is the only thing that we take with us. And this very feeling is what people will pay a lot of money for an expensive holiday to feel like this at the end, right?

So how would you like to feel like this every day, and further more to start your day feeling like this everyday ?

It completely changes your life when you do, and you begin to see life from the perspective of who you really are which does away with anxiety, confusion, anger and depression. All it requires is for you to practice a few minutes each day, as soon as you get up in the morning. Just walk up to an open window and breathe in the air of freshness into your lungs as an added bonus after…. you do the10 minutes of meditation.

Now just remember to take some breaths during the day and recall the nice FEELING on the inside of you think of something you love to do, a situation, a walk a holiday or someone you have fond feelings for. This all helps to connect you to lovingness, which is your own life force your inner being. Re-connecting to lovingness gives your health and vitality a boost and keeps you positive and allows you to stay happy also…
